It is preferable to see patients at the Surgery, whenever possible, as
examinations and investigations can be carried out more fully there. However, if
you are too ill to attend surgery and need a home visit, the Surgery should be
contacted before 10.30 am.
The call will be put through to your registered doctor's secretary who will
take basic details. These details will be passed to your doctor who may
telephone to offer immediate advice prior to a visit being arranged.
If you can be brought to the surgery, a side room can be made available and you
can be seen without delay. We have wheelchairs available for your use.
