Ante-Natal
 Once
you have discovered that you are pregnant, you will be asked to make an
appointment with one of our midwives when you are between 8 and 10 weeks
pregnant. These appointments are on a Wednesday morning. Please allow
approximately one hour for these appointments.
The midwife will discuss care during your pregnancy, antenatal classes
and your chosen place of delivery. You will then receive your own notes. The
midwife will also arrange your ultrasound scan.
At each visit to the midwife your blood pressure, urine and growth of your
baby will be checked.
