Ante-Natal
 Once you have
discovered that you are pregnant and have had the pregnancy confirmed by the
doctor, a Bath North Team midwife will usually visit you at home and will
contact you with an appointment. Please allow approximately one hour for this
visit. The midwife will discuss care during your pregnancy, antenatal classes
and your chosen place of delivery. You will then receive your own notes. The
midwife will also arrange your ultrasound scan.
At each visit to the midwife your blood pressure, urine and growth of your
baby will be checked.
